The cameo is made in Torre del Greco. This is an ancient Italian tradition in which the shell or hard stone is engraved by hand or machine.
This cameo is machine made on hard carnelian stone.
Cameo size: 40mm by 30mm. The complete brooch pendant measures 44mm by 34mm.
